Terms and Conditions

Deposit of 25% of total cost required upon confirmation.

The rates are inclusive of all meals. No transfers are included in the mentioned rates.

Children aged 5 and above will be treated as an adult and charged accordingly.

A/C will function only from 09:00 PM to 06:00 AM except in Luxury Houseboats.

Please contact for the rates from December 20th to January 14th.

Your suggestions for food (spicy, veg or non-veg, coconut oil or sunflower oil) should be informed prior to your arrival.

Special dishes can be arranged on informing two days prior to the arrival by paying extra charge subject to availability.

Management will not be responsible for late arrivals and loss of valuables.

Normal check-in time is 11.30 am and check out time is 8.30am. Late Check-in and Early Check-out is possible as per your travel plans.

Airport/Railway station private car transfer is available on request

Incase of A/C failure, Non A/C deluxe houseboat tariff will be charged.

Refund, Cancellation and Payment Policy

All cancellations should be intimated through email and refund policy will be effective from the date of receipt of this mail. The cancellation amount depends on the cancellation policy of hotels and houseboats booked. All refunds will be processed within two weeks on the receipt of the email.

Cancellation / Refund slabs are as below;

If the cancellation is made minimum 07 days in advance, there will not be any retention
If the cancellation is made within 07 days, there will be 50% retention.
If the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the cruise, there will be 100% retention.
No Refund for Peak Season bookings.

Terms of Payment: 100% Advance In case of early departure because of any unexpected incidents, we try to withdraw all bookings there forth and refund will solely depend on the amount which can be recovered from the unused service. We do not hold any responsibility for this refund, but will assist you in the best possible way.

Rates are applicable only if you make payments with in two days of enquiry.

Dos and Don’ts

  • You are in a houseboat; it is a traditional concept with limited facilities and resources.
  • For overnight bookings, the check in time is 11:30 AM and check out time is at 08:30 AM on the following day. Day Cruise, check in time is 11:30 AM and check out time is 5:30 PM the same day.
  • The Food and beverage service on the houseboat is only up to 10:30 PM.
  • Guests are not permitted to remain or sleep outside the rooms after 10:30 PM.
  • Boat will be halted for one hour only during lunch break.
  • As per the Government rule, the time allotted for fishing is from 5:30 PM to 07:30 AM. During that time, the houseboat will be anchored and will resume the journey at 08:00 AM.
  • The distance we cover is about 20-30 kms and the place of the night halt will be decided by the captain according to the weather and climate.
  • Food in the houseboat is prepared in traditional kerala style.The cruise includes Lunch, Dinner, Breakfast and tea/cofee with snacks.
  • The staff (The captain, the chef and engine driver ) selected from the backwaters villages are always ready for your service.
  • Do not jump into the water from the houseboat.
  • Do not cause noise disturbance to the villagers during night halt.
  • Do not throw garbage into the water. Use the bins provided in the boat. Don’t use foul language while on the boat.
  • Wear modest attire while hanging around in the villages during the cruise.
  • Always co-operate with the crew and obey their suggestions
  • Management will not be responsible for late arrivals and loss of valuables.
